From Classic to Timeless: Rebrand for a Locally Owned Family Business with Global Reach

Broad Street Licensing Group, a well-established name in food, restaurant, and beverage brand licensing, was preparing for a major transition. Founded in 1997 and named after Broad Street in Philadelphia, the company was now passing the torch to Peter, the founder’s son. Peter had a bold vision: to modernize the brand, make licensing feel fresh and Instagrammable, and position Broad Street as the go-to agency in its category.

In the food and beverage brand licensing space, the old BSLG emblem became well know and established, so part of our challenege was to refresh the mark in a way that paid homage to the past while not feeling handcuffed. Our solution was to recreate the emblem in a bold new font and brighter red, conveying the brand's new energy, and carrying that shape throughout the identity, showcasing it's versatility.
